Cancellation Policy

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a therapy appointment. Notice given less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time is considered a late cancellation.

A late cancellation or missed appointment may be charged at the full private-pay rate for the time reserved:

• 45-minute session: $97.50
• 60-minute session: $130.00

Insurance plans generally do not pay missed-session or late-cancellation fees, so these charges are normally the client’s responsibility. The fee applies to the reserved appointment time, not to a therapy service billed to insurance.

Reasonable exceptions may be considered for emergencies, sudden illness, severe weather, technology failures, or circumstances outside your control. Please contact Bethany as soon as reasonably possible. An exception is not guaranteed and will be considered individually.

The free 30-minute consultation has no session fee. If you cannot attend, please cancel or reschedule promptly so that time can be offered to someone else.

Active therapy clients should also follow the scheduling and communication instructions in their informed-consent and practice documents. If those documents contain different terms, the signed client agreement controls.
